At Installationsgruppen, we work exclusively with sales, design, project management, and installation of telecommunications, data, fiber, alarms, CCTV surveillance, indoor coverage for 4G, 5G, and RAKEL. Installationsgruppen manages projects and installs physical infrastructure. Installations vary in scope from complete turnkey projects to smaller service work. Installationsgruppen has extensive experience with complex projects with a strong customer focus. Our business is growing and we need to hire more skilled employees for Västerås.

As an installation technician at Installationsgruppen, you will primarily work with installations of telecommunications, data, fiber, alarms, CCTV surveillance, and indoor coverage for 4G, 5G, and RAKEL. This involves cable laying, performing installations, labeling, and documentation at our customers' sites, mostly located in Mälardalen and the Stockholm metropolitan area.
Occasionally we have assignments in other parts of Sweden, and sometimes even abroad. So there will be considerable variation between larger and smaller projects and where your workplace will be, which means you need to be comfortable changing environments from time to time.
We're looking for someone with a basic technical interest, a talent for hands-on work, and most importantly – HIGH WORK ETHIC. If you have technical education and/or experience from similar work, that's certainly a merit, but what matters most is that you're a productive and results-oriented person who takes your work seriously. If you haven't worked with this type of technical installation before, you at least have the interest and ambition to learn and become as skilled as possible. Perhaps you've tried work in construction as a carpenter or technician, or maybe you have experience from the IT world. Regardless of your background, your ambition is to deliver quality craftsmanship, develop yourself, and become skilled at what you do.
