Main job duties:
Responds to information about criminal offenses or other legal violations, travels to the incident site.
Carries out patrols and takes necessary security measures to prevent and detect legal violations, apprehend offenders, prevent unauthorized activities and disturbances.
When detecting an administrative violation, initiates and ensures proceedings in an administrative violation case, makes decisions in the prescribed manner.
Regulates movement of vehicles and pedestrians, and prevents legal violations while moving along patrol routes (according to deployment) or while at a patrol post.
Initiates and conducts departmental inspections.
Detains persons who are at home in an intoxicated state and may cause harm to themselves or others, or in case surrounding people are afraid to remain alone with such a person, and holds such persons at a police station.
Makes police decisions on detention.
Ensures inspection of persons, documents and vehicles in information systems.
Enters information into information systems.
Carries out checks for the influence of alcohol and other intoxicating substances in the manner prescribed by legal acts.
Provides assistance to victims, identifies witnesses to the incident or offense, ensures cordoning off and protection of the incident scene.
Searches for and apprehends persons, vehicles and property being searched for, as well as apprehends persons suspected of committing criminal offenses and administrative violations.
At the request of the criminal process director, performs procedural actions in the criminal process.
Requirements for candidates:
Compliance with the requirements set out in Articles 4 and 7 of the Service Law of officials with special service ranks in the Ministry of Interior system institutions and the Prison Administration;
First-level professional higher education (educational thematic fields: law; civil and military protection; transport services; business and administration; computer science; social and human sciences; humanities; teacher education and educational sciences; engineering sciences and technologies; information and communication sciences);
Good computer skills (MS Word and MS Excel);
State language proficiency level – C level, 1st degree;
Category B driver's license.
Candidates who have not previously served in Ministry of Interior system institutions or the Prison Administration will be required to complete the State Police College's 3-month professional development education program "Fundamentals of Police Work for State Police Officials".
