Main duties
Receive information about criminal offenses and other violations committed in the territory served by the Department, about persons who committed them, as well as about events (accidents, fires, etc.) that threaten the security of a person, society or the state;
Within the scope of your competence, conduct and organize measures to detect and prevent criminal offenses, as well as to search for persons who committed them or are hiding from investigation and court, evading criminal punishment or are missing, and personally participate in preventing, combating and detecting criminal offenses, less serious, serious and especially serious criminal offenses;
As part of the operative group, travel to incident scenes to conduct initial investigation activities in case of a criminal offense;
Organize, direct and control the work of the operative group or subordinate additional forces at the scene of the incident, give orders depending on the situation and available information.
Initiate departmental inspections;
Within the scope of your competence, review submissions, complaints and suggestions from natural and legal persons.
Requirements for candidates:
compliance with the requirements specified in Articles 4 and 7 of the Service Law of Officials with Special Service Ranks in State Institutions of the Ministry of Interior and the Prison Administration;
first-level professional higher education (educational subject areas: legal sciences, civil and military protection, transport services, commerce and administration, computer science, social and human sciences, humanities, teacher education and educational sciences, engineering and technology, information and communication sciences);
good computer skills (MS Word and MS Excel);
state language proficiency level – C level 1st degree;
category B driver's license.
Candidates who have not previously served in State institutions of the Ministry of Interior or the Prison Administration will be required to complete a 3-month professional development program "Fundamentals of Police Work for State Police Officials" at the State Police College.
