State Police Riga Regional Bureau Riga Northern Bureau Criminal Police Bureau Inspector (Operational Activities) Profession Code – 335513 Main Job Duties: Within your competence, plan and conduct necessary measures in your service area to prevent and detect criminal offenses; Perform operational activity tasks related to the detection of criminal offenses under the jurisdiction of the District as prescribed by regulatory acts; Within your competence, conduct searches for criminals and missing persons; Systematically collect and analyze received operational information; Identify and conduct operational activity measures in crime-prone locations to prevent further commission of criminal offenses. Requirements for Candidates: Compliance with the requirements set forth in Articles 4 and 7 of the Law on Service Career for Officials with Special Service Ranks in Interior Ministry System Institutions and the Prison Administration; First-level professional higher education (education subject areas: legal science, civil and military defense, business and administration, social and human sciences, computer science); Good computer skills (MS Word and MS Excel); State language proficiency level – C1; Category B driving license.
