About the Job
As an inspector with a focus on healthcare, you will investigate cases within the healthcare sector. As an inspector, you always work from a user and patient perspective with a supervisory mission aimed at investigating, checking, and making demands to contribute to better healthcare for individuals and different groups of people.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- independently drive, investigate, and assess cases concerning individual complaints according to the Patient Safety Act (EK-PSL)
- maintain contact with healthcare providers, healthcare personnel, and complainants in the investigation work
- collaborate nationally with colleagues throughout the country
- participate in close and cross-professional collaboration.
We work together nationally and you will have colleagues throughout the country. At your office, you will be part of a team with colleagues within the relevant case type. You will participate in close and cross-professional collaboration with inspectors, supervising physicians, and decision-makers. In the longer term, the content of your work may change to include other case types.

These positions are permanent employment with a six-month probationary period, positioned in Malmö. Business travel may occur.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
- Swedish nursing license
- at least 3 years of experience working in primary care, somatic specialist healthcare, psychiatric specialist healthcare, and/or municipal healthcare
- documented experience of independent patient safety, analysis, investigation, quality, and/or development work
- very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- good knowledge of healthcare legislation.
To succeed in the role, you need both good collaboration skills and high integrity. You have good judgment and feel confident in your professional role. You find it easy to drive your own cases and to see what you need to do to move forward in your work.
