The Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO) is in a development phase where our mission is expanding and placing increasing demands on our supervisory activities. To meet this, we are now strengthening our operations and seeking an inspector with a healthcare background for Örebro. About the position As an inspector, you will handle matters concerning licensed healthcare personnel. The work involves investigating and assessing professional practice based on applicable regulations with a focus on patient safety. Your main responsibilities will include: investigating matters concerning licensed healthcare personnel's professional practice, for example in issues relating to illness (such as addiction), competence, and medication prescribing, handling matters concerning probation following decisions from the Health and Social Care Responsibility Board (HSAN), preparing decisions in certain matters. You will be the primary handler in some matters and co-handler in others, depending on the scope and nature of the matters. You will work in close collaboration with other inspectors with different professional backgrounds as well as with supervising physicians. We expect you to contribute to multidisciplinary assessments and joint positions. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: Swedish registered nurse license, at least five years of current experience in somatic or psychiatric care, good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have: experience from both somatic and psychiatric care, experience working with supervision and investigations, experience working in a leadership role. You need good collaboration skills, be able to contribute your professional perspective while working independently and in a structured manner.
