Are you technically minded and thrive at the intersection of technology, customer relations, and business? Do you want to work with advanced robotics and automation solutions in a role where you can develop both technically and commercially? This could be the opportunity for you.
KUKA is one of the world's leading suppliers of robotics and automation solutions. We are now seeking an Inside Sales Engineer for our Nordic headquarters in Göteborg. Here you will have a central role where you work closely with customers, sales representatives, and technical specialists to create automation solutions for some of the Nordic region's leading industrial companies.
Job Description
As an Inside Sales Engineer, you will be part of KUKA's Customer Relationship Center (CRC) and serve as the link between customer, sales, and technology. You work closely with customers in the Nordic and Baltic regions as well as internal specialists and engineering teams in Germany.
The role combines customer dialogue, technical consulting, and commercial acumen. You will work to identify customer needs, develop technical solution proposals, configure robotic solutions, and support the sales process from initial contact through quotation and follow-up.
Your main responsibilities include:
Manage incoming leads and business opportunities for small and medium-sized customers
Configure robotic and automation solutions based on customer needs
Develop quotations and technical solution proposals
Support sales representatives in ongoing business deals and projects
Coordinate contact between customers, technical specialists, and internal functions
Who Are You?
We believe you have a technical education, preferably in automation, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or similar, combined with several years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.
Perhaps you currently work in technical sales, applications engineering, automation, or a similar role where you combine technical understanding with customer dialogue. Experience with robotics is not required, but a genuine interest in technology and automation is important.
We are looking for someone who has:
Post-secondary technical education
At least two years of relevant work experience
Experience in a B2B environment
Strong technical interest and good problem-solving abilities
Excellent English skills, both spoken and written
Experience in automation, robotics, or the manufacturing industry is a merit.
As a person, you are curious, communicative, and enjoy building relationships. You like collaborating with others and are motivated by finding the right solution for the customer.
What We Offer
At KUKA, you will work with market-leading robotics and automation solutions in an organization with short decision-making paths, high technical competence, and close collaboration between different functions. You will become part of a knowledgeable team and have the opportunity to develop in a role where technology and business meet. As part of KUKA Group, there are also good opportunities for continued development, both within the Nordic region and internationally.
