Södra Dalarnas Räddningstjänstförbund is responsible for rescue services in Avesta, Hedemora, Fagersta, and Norbergs municipalities. The organization currently comprises approximately 45 full-time employees and 100 part-time employees distributed across 6 fire stations. Our operational focus is to primarily prevent accidents and fires, which is why all personnel participate in preventive work. Our member municipalities have an interesting risk topography that includes heavy steel industry with extensive chemical handling, mining industry, national roads 66, 68, 69, and 70, as well as European road 16, paper and timber industries. Five of the industries are classified as Seveso facilities according to the higher requirement level. Södra Dalarnas Räddningstjänstförbund is part of RäddningsRegion Bergslagen (RRB) and its associated management collaboration. About the Role In this position, which is based in the rescue department, you will be part of our operations leader team. As an operations leader, you will work a combined day and shift schedule according to a specific schedule. Operatively, the operations leader constitutes management level two within the organization with responsibility for, among other things, coordinating the work of individual rescue units and overall operational leadership. As an operations leader, you will be stationed at the rescue station in Avesta. In your role, in addition to operational service, you will work with planning and development within one or more of the organization's different operational and functional areas. Your primary responsibility will be the organization's operational business development. Other responsibilities or tasks may be added. Operational area responsibilities include: Development of operational support Monitoring of incident reporting Overall responsibility for our IT support - Daedalos Ability to act as project manager and drive projects Work organization-wide Budget responsibility Your Qualifications Management course LK2 or alternatively Rescue Management B MSB's training in Protection against Accidents (SMO) or equivalent Supervision A (MSB) or equivalent Supervision B (MSB) or equivalent is meritorious Hold a driver's license with minimum category B Ability to express yourself well verbally and in writing Good ability to work independently toward defined goals and develop the operational area entrusted to you Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
