The Case Management Team is part of the Intervention and Foster Care Unit within the Care and Social Services Administration, one of six departments in the City of Lidingö. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are now seeking a case manager to cover for a colleague during parental leave. As a case manager, you follow up on interventions granted by investigating social workers to children and young people, ages 0-20. This includes both open care interventions as well as placements in the form of HVB, supported housing, SiS, and co-placements with LSS. You follow the case, ensure that the granted intervention produces results, and work actively to increase protective factors. We aim to work according to the Signs of Safety approach. You will also conduct preliminary assessments for children whose cases you manage, but in cases of greater concern, the investigation is handed over to an investigator while you continue to follow the intervention. The unit is working to review all routines and adapt them to the new organization. Here we look forward to learning from your experience and getting your input on various matters. We are formalizing cooperation with the police through BoB, collaboration with the field and prevention unit for an increased shared situational awareness of Lidingö, and further developing cooperation with adult services for young people who will need continued support after age 20. QUALIFICATIONS For this role, we are seeking someone who • Has a degree in social work • Has experience working with children and young people in social services • We would like you to be familiar with the Signs of Safety approach Merits • You have training in MI and Ester assessment instrument As a person, you are secure and stable. You have good collaboration skills and are skilled at creating and maintaining relationships. Furthermore, you are accustomed to working in a structured manner and taking great responsibility for your tasks. We see it as a plus if, in addition to this, you enjoy having fun at work!
