Job Description:
We are looking for you to narrate professional mathematics textbooks as audiobooks. Typically high school learning materials. The work is conducted in project form, where each book is a project. The work is performed independently in our studios in Hammarby Sjöstad.
The Work
We offer work primarily in the evenings and on weekends, but there may also be opportunities to narrate during daytime. We will introduce you to our recording system, train you, and help you get started. The employment form is project-based, where a book or learning material corresponds to an assignment. Compensation is based on recorded time after editing. The fee per playback hour is fixed.
Qualifications:
Subject expertise in mathematics at the high school level
You are willing and able to work evenings or weekends
You have clear pronunciation without a noticeable dialect
You have good reading aloud skills
You are meticulous
Experience and interest in conveying knowledge
Work Sample:
Record a short, optional professional text in Swedish, approximately 2 minutes, for example from a popular science article or news article. You can record the work sample on, for example, a phone or computer: it should be approximately 2 minutes long.
Attach the work sample as a file or a link in your application. Sound quality is not decisive; what matters is that your reading is clearly understandable. The voice sample must be in Swedish. We prefer that you have the ability to work at least 2 evenings or weekends per week.
The work sample is necessary for your application to proceed. Make sure that the work sample is attached to your application before you submit it. We process complete applications received and will follow up with those we choose to proceed with.
