Procurement Assistant

Cobolt AB develops and manufactures advanced lasers for biomedical analysis applications. The company was founded in 2001 and currently has 70 employees with annual revenues of 230 MSEK. We are seeking an ambitious procurement assistant who wants to be part of developing Cobolt's procurement organization during an upcoming period of expected strong growth. Cobolt procures materials (mechanics, electronics, and specialty optics) from companies spread across the world. We are looking for someone with experience working with procurement and inventory management and who is accustomed to having contact with suppliers. You enjoy working in a team and are communicative. You have good knowledge of the Office suite, and since our suppliers are primarily international, it is very important that you have fluent English skills in both spoken and written form. It is also advantageous if you have experience with the Monitor business system. We prefer that you have documented education and/or experience in procurement and logistics. We are looking for someone who constantly wants to improve our procurement processes and terms, realize exciting development plans with new products, delivery planning and monitoring, budget tracking and control, and maintain good relationships with our suppliers. As a person, you are engaged, self-driven, and goal-oriented and want to develop together with us. You are responsible, structured, and independently drive your projects from start to finish. We further expect that you are meticulous with good organizational skills, are easygoing and pleasant, stress-resilient, and are skilled at creating and maintaining relationships.
