NSVA is now seeking a procurement analyst for an extended temporary assignment. About the assignment NSVA works to ensure that residents in the owner municipalities have access to clean drinking water and sustainable wastewater management. With high expertise, great responsibility, and close collaboration, NSVA develops future water and wastewater services. Currently, 260 employees work together in a socially important operation where every role is significant. The procurement function's responsibility is to meet NSVA's current and future procurement needs to achieve accurate, sustainable agreements and good business outcomes. The function drives the procurement process and develops work methods that are followed throughout the company. The procurement function's primary task is to support operations regarding procurement matters. The work contributes to value creation and profitable solutions for NSVA through overall responsibility for internal procurement processes. The goal is to continuously develop operations and make it easy to do the right thing. The consulting assignment starts in early December and is expected to run until 2028-01-31 with the possibility of extension. The temporary position is full-time and based at the office in Helsingborg. Onboarding takes place at the office. After that, hybrid work is possible up to two days per week if operations permit. Your responsibilities As a procurement analyst, you are responsible for reporting and analyzing procurement. You provide strategic support to operations regarding procurement by developing relevant analysis materials. Main responsibilities: Create monthly KPI reports and annual reports Conduct monthly spend analyses of NSVA's procurement behavior in Excel and pivot tables Present analyses to relevant stakeholders Continue developing processes within the procurement function Work closely with department heads and others involved in operations Handle related financial tasks as needed Qualifications Post-secondary education in economics At least 2 years of experience working as an economist, with at least 1 year in a similar analytical role within procurement Very strong system understanding and advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables) Good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing Merits Experience working at an audit firm Previous experience giving presentations Experience with public procurement and LOU Personal qualities You are analytical, organized, and have excellent collaboration skills. You thrive in a supportive role and find it easy to build trusting relationships with department heads and other colleagues in the organization. Since you are expected to give presentations and explain your analyses to different parts of the operation, it is also important that you are communicative, pedagogical, and clear.
