Procurement Specialist for the Department of Education

Description We are seeking a procurement specialist for a fixed-term position covering a colleague's parental leave. The Administration and Finance Department supports the core operations of the department and is an important resource for contributing to quality and goal achievement. The department has expertise in finance, procurement and purchasing, facilities, security, and information and case management. Our workplace is located in a nice, centrally situated office on Skånegatan near Korsvägen. The Procurement and Purchasing Unit is responsible for procurements and purchases carried out for the department. We are a team of five employees. We collaborate with requesters in the operations. Job Duties The role will include: • conducting direct procurements of services and goods • conducting renewed competitive procurements • working with the Visma Proceedo ordering and purchasing system • providing advice and support to the department's requesters on matters regarding framework agreement calls, orders in the purchasing system, and the Public Procurement Act (LOU) • following up on contracts and conducting internal controls The position also includes other administrative tasks. Qualifications You have relevant post-secondary education. We see that you have several years of experience in qualified procurement work and good knowledge of purchasing systems. You have good knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU), preferably with experience in procurement within a region or municipality. You express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English and have good experience working with Microsoft Office. It is a requirement to have worked in the Visma Proceedo purchasing system. It is a merit to have worked in the Kommers procurement tool. You are proactive and want to deliver quality while contributing to the development of the unit. You find it easy to communicate and convey messages to larger groups. We also believe that you are analytical, methodical, and can document your thoughts in writing in a way that can be used for preparing request documents and contract documentation. You share your knowledge in an unpretentious and open manner.
