As a procurement manager, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on procurement related to the company's new construction projects. You work closely with management, project organizations, contractors, and suppliers, while being an important part of ensuring business-efficient and cost-effective solutions. The role is broad and varied, combining operational procurement work with strategic matters, contract negotiations, and development of working methods. You are expected to take overall responsibility for procurement and be involved in creating long-term partnerships that contribute to the company's continued growth. Examples of responsibilities Drive business negotiations. Responsible for contract drafting and negotiation with suppliers and contractors. Manage procurement throughout the process, from early stages with clients to finished production. Identify, analyze, and track cost development in projects. Ensure that agreements, contracts, and other arrangements are coherent and commercially viable. Work strategically with framework agreements and development of supplier relationships. Follow up on contractors and partners in the field during projects. Develop and streamline procurement processes and working methods. Contribute to digitalization and efficiency improvements through business systems and AI-based solutions. Support operations in a small and dynamic company where collaboration and lack of pretension are natural parts of everyday work. Qualifications We are looking for someone with solid experience in procurement within the construction industry and who understands the connection between procurement, production, and profitability. You have worked close to the business and are accustomed to handling both strategic and operational procurement matters. To succeed in this role, we see that you have: At least 5 years of experience as a procurement manager within the construction industry. Experience with new construction projects. Good understanding of cost calculations, unit costs, and cost tracking. Experience with business negotiations, construction contracts, and contract drafting. Ability to independently drive processes and make business decisions. Very good understanding of the construction industry's business and conditions. It is advantageous if you have: Experience from smaller or mid-sized construction companies. Experience with larger construction procurement. Experience with the systems Next and Visma. An established network within the construction industry. Interest in digitalization, AI, and process efficiency improvements. Who are you?
