About the Position
As a Buyer at engcon, you are responsible for developing, managing, and securing the supplier base within your area of responsibility. Your mission is to ensure delivery precision, the right capacity for operational needs, a sustainable supplier structure, and competitive commercial terms.
You will work closely with both internal functions and external suppliers and work long-term to create value through strong relationships, professional negotiations, and structured improvement work.
Key Responsibilities:
Take responsibility for assigned suppliers and ensure an efficient and appropriate supplier structure.
Ensure delivery precision and capacity in line with operational needs and growth plans.
Negotiate, establish, and manage agreements and commercial terms.
Identify and manage supplier risks through alternative supplier solutions and a balanced supplier portfolio.
Drive supplier development through monitoring, improvement work, and regular supplier meetings.
Contribute to strengthening engcon's competitiveness through strategic procurement decisions.
Your Profile
We believe you have experience in strategic or technical procurement, or alternatively other experience where you have worked with suppliers, negotiation, or business development. You have strong proficiency in Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
You are a business-minded and results-oriented person who enjoys working both strategically and operationally. With an analytical and structured approach, you have the ability to identify opportunities, make well-founded decisions, and drive work forward. You are a skilled communicator who builds strong and long-term relationships, both internally and externally. At the same time, you work independently and take personal responsibility, but also appreciate collaboration with colleagues, suppliers, and other partners to achieve common goals.
Location: Strömsund. Selection will be ongoing.
