About the job Region Building Housing West is currently divided into five Work Manager Groups operating in Gothenburg, Borås, Alingsås and Halland. We believe that specialization is the key to success. Our projects are driven by competent production management together with specialized expertise in, among other things, design, installation management and procurement. We are now looking for a purchasing manager with several years of experience in project procurement with placement in Gothenburg or Borås. In your role as a purchasing manager in the Building Housing West region, you are responsible for the entire procurement process, from request to completed agreement, with active support from the site manager and others in the project team. The project team includes, among others, installation managers, contract engineers, production management personnel and KMA. You are part of the region's procurement group where you, together with other purchasing managers, develop our procurement work. You report to the Procurement Manager. About you We want you to have relevant education and experience working with tactical procurement within the construction sector. It is a great advantage if you have worked as a foreman or site manager before. It is also an asset to have worked as a contract engineer. In this position it is important that you are driven and love to negotiate with business in focus. A prerequisite for success in the role is that you have strong implementation ability and are motivated by developing business relationships with contractors and suppliers. You also have good negotiation experience, strong communication skills and high integrity. We would like to see that you are independent and that you find it natural to share knowledge and contribute to the development of others. It is also important that ethics and morality are important guiding principles for you, because they are for us.
