Peab's construction operations in the Greater Stockholm region is now seeking a project procurement manager. We offer a broad and varied role where we're looking for you to contribute to our change initiative in procurement work in the region through quality procurement practices while developing in your professional role. Welcome to join us! About the position As a project procurement manager in our Construction East region, you will be part of the entire construction process from tender to finished product. You will work closely with our estimation and production organization. This means you will work across the entire procurement process—assembling request materials, sending requests, compiling quotes, negotiating and establishing agreements with suppliers and subcontractors, and creating procurement plans together with site management. You will be part of a procurement team that is on a transformation journey and working to develop the region's procurement practices. Your work location is Ulriksdal and there may be some travel to our construction projects, therefore a driver's license (Category B) is required. About you We're looking for someone with experience from the construction industry and relevant post-secondary education from a vocational college or university. You may also have completed procurement training from an educational provider such as Silf. Alternatively, you may have acquired equivalent competence through extensive work experience. Experience with procurement work in larger organizations and experience with change initiatives in large matrix organizations is highly valued. For this role, we see that you have at least five years or more of qualified procurement experience and that you have worked with the entire procurement process, from request for tender to contract signing and follow-up. We also see that you have experience with the industry's standard contracts (AB, ABT, ABM, ABK). You are driven by making good deals, you are analytical and have a structured working approach. Furthermore, you are used to working independently toward set goals. You have extensive negotiation experience and an ability to build and develop relationships with both colleagues and suppliers. If you have experience in project management and leadership, this is something we also value for this position. You have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You master English and if you have additional language skills, that is a merit.
