Procurement Specialist

Peab Operations and Maintenance is a region within Peab Construction and our core business consists of ongoing maintenance and upkeep of roads, streets, and squares, park and street care, exterior property maintenance, flower programs, landscape installations, arborist services, and renovation of parks and playgrounds. We ensure that the country's residents and visitors can enjoy and safely use our outdoor environments and traffic. We have extensive experience with projects that demand high standards for service, quality, environment, and accessibility. About the Position As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for executing purchases of materials and services. You will handle requests, negotiate contracts, and ensure that purchases are made according to budget and schedule. In this role, you will work closely with both internal colleagues and external suppliers. Your responsibilities will include: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project goals and timelines. Ensure delivery of materials and services according to agreed specifications and schedules. Support our Site Managers with procurement. Manage and evaluate suppliers. Collaborate with production management to identify procurement needs. Manage risks related to procurement and propose alternative solutions as needed. Work in accordance with Peab's guidelines and ethical standards. About You We are looking for someone who is business-minded, organized, and communicative, with strong skills in building and maintaining relationships. You thrive in a role where you work both independently and as part of a team. With your curiosity and open-minded approach, you contribute to a positive and developmental work environment. To succeed in this role, you have: Relevant higher education or equivalent experience within production, procurement, or logistics Previous experience with procurement work, preferably within the construction and engineering industry Understanding of contracts and legal documents Strong proficiency in the Office suite; experience with procurement systems is a plus Strong knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Valid driver's license (category B) Practical Information Start: By agreement Scope: Permanent position, with a six-month probationary period Location: Stockholm Selection for the position is ongoing, so do not delay in submitting your application.
