We are now seeking an engaged and organized procurement officer for our procurement unit – a central support function where you will have a key role in ensuring efficient, sustainable, and secure procurements. Your workplace is centrally located at Guldsmeden in Hudiksvall, where you will work together with your immediate manager and colleagues. Work Duties As a procurement officer at Hudiksvall Municipality, you will have a key role in the municipality's procurement work. You are responsible for conducting procurements in accordance with LOU (the Public Procurement Act) and ensuring that our purchases are characterized by business-like practices, cost-efficiency, and sustainability. You will work closely with the municipality's various operations to plan, lead, and follow up on procurements. The role also includes conducting dialogue with suppliers and other stakeholders as well as providing support through advice and training on procurement matters. The position offers independent and varied work with great opportunity to make an impact. Requirements: Relevant university education in the field or other education that the employer considers equivalent Experience in procurement Very good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written Good system proficiency Meritorious: Experience with procurement in the public sector Experience with procurement of contracts Experience in strategic procurement work and/or project management Experience with procurement systems Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.
