We are now looking for a safety engineer who wants to contribute to our important work within radiation protection. We are now seeking a Safety Engineer for the Operational Safety Operations Group at Ringhals 3 & 4 About the Position Operational Safety is responsible for performing, developing, and managing tasks within the operational area (Protecting individuals, facilities, and the environment) for the entire company. As a Safety Engineer, you will work within the field of operational safety, which includes both radiation protection and occupational health and safety. The work spans all operations and includes: Independent safety work as well as monitoring and inspection of facility status and internal environment from a safety perspective. Collaboration with contractors through planning individual tasks and participating in projects and major maintenance work. Documentation responsibility, which means you will work with developing, implementing, and managing procedures for our operations. Furthermore, you will have overall responsibility for ensuring that work is documented and that it is done correctly. Serving as an instructor in certain radiation protection trainings and being part of Ringhals emergency preparedness. Requirements About You We are looking for someone with at least upper secondary education. You have relevant radiation protection training or equivalent knowledge, and experience from operations, maintenance, or safety work at a nuclear power plant is a merit. The role requires that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as well as good knowledge of English. The work involves considerable freedom under responsibility, which is why you need to be self-driven, thorough, and service-oriented.
