Ammunition Engineer

We are now seeking an engineer with experience in technical systems work, preferably in the ammunition field, who wants to drive the development and procurement of ammunition forward. About the Position As an engineer, you will support projects within the ammunition procurement field. You will assist product managers with product-related questions and support project managers in project implementation and financial monitoring. You will participate in project planning and in the development of requirement specifications, documentation, and commercial materials for procurements. You will also participate in requirement reviews, contract evaluations, and contract negotiations. You will contribute to the monitoring of supplier orders through project meetings and design reviews. Additionally, you will provide technical expertise in technical product development. The role also involves conducting handover of materiel and maintaining the systems delivered to the Swedish Armed Forces. You will plan and conduct technical investigations and participate in the monitoring of materiel systems in collaboration with the Swedish Armed Forces. You may also participate in international collaborations. The position is based in Stockholm. Business travel occurs, both domestic and international. About You We seek someone who is educated/has a degree as a civil or engineering technician or has equivalent competence acquired in another way that we assess as equivalent. To succeed in the role, it is necessary that you have several years of relevant work experience as an engineer. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. It is meriting if you have experience from the ammunition field and the technical systems covered by the product area, as well as several years of work experience. It is an advantage if you have relevant experience from the defense sector and knowledge of the Swedish Armed Forces' materiel systems. Experience in technical product development is meriting. Possession of a B-class driver's license is a plus. Personal qualities are of great importance to us.
