Responsibilities As an Information Security Coordinator, you are responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining information security procedures and associated governing documents. You inform and guide the organization in applicable guidelines and security procedures to protect the company's information, and serve as an active resource in identifying and managing information security risks. In this role, you will, among other things: Support operations in conducting risk analyses and security assessments to identify and manage security risks. Coordinate and conduct information security training for employees with the goal of strengthening colleagues' knowledge and security awareness. Collaborate with the IT department to ensure that security measures are in place and functioning effectively. Participate and collaborate with the group's information security resources. Monitor developments and follow up on the city's and group's policies, guidelines, and instructions within information security. Collaborate with the company's other information security resources to develop the entire organization's security awareness across all security areas. Support in managing information security incidents in close collaboration with operations and IT. Support in handling requests for disclosure of public records and register excerpts in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a relevant academic degree in information and/or IT security, systems science, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. You have documented experience in information security work and experience working with risk analyses, incident management, and governing documents. It is an advantage if you have experience working in public sector operations and education and practical experience with legal matters, with particular knowledge of public records disclosure and confidentiality issues. To succeed in this role, you need to be able to communicate complex issues in a simple and pedagogical way. You express yourself very well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, and adapt your communication to the audience, recipient, and situation. You ensure that your message reaches its target and have an understanding of how people acquire new knowledge.
