JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Information Security Coordinator, you will have a central and strategic role in the municipality. You will coordinate and develop information security work at an overarching level and ensure that the municipality complies with applicable laws, requirements, and guidelines.
The assignment also includes supporting the municipality's companies in information security matters so that these operations conduct safe and structured information security work.
You will work closely with IT and Digitalization, the Chief Security Officer, the data protection officer, and managers, and you will support the organization in matters concerning risks, information classification, governance, and procedures. The role involves both operational and strategic work.
Examples of job tasks
• Drive and further develop the municipality's information security work according to established frameworks (e.g., ISO 27000 series)
• Coordinate risk analyses, information classification, and continuity work
• Develop, manage, and follow up on governing documents such as policies, guidelines, and procedures
• Support managers and operations, including municipal companies, in implementing requirements in practice
• Contribute to work on the new Cybersecurity Act, GDPR, and other relevant legislation
• Participate in the handling and follow-up of incidents
• Conduct training and information initiatives in the organization
• Follow up and report status to management and committees
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
• Post-secondary education in, for example, information security, IT, law, social science, or another relevant field, or equivalent experience
• Experience with information security work, risk management, or related areas
• Good understanding of governance, management systems, and operational development
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
It is an advantage if you have:
• Experience from the public sector and collaboration with other authorities
• Knowledge of ISO 27001/LIS
• Knowledge/experience of relevant laws/regulations such as GDPR, NIS2, etc.
• Knowledge/experience of security protection matters, classification protection, or crime prevention initiatives
• Experience with change management and training work
