Your Assignment
As an Information Security Officer, you will be part of FRA's Security Office. The Security Office's responsibility is to ensure FRA's security protection for the agency's various operations based on their specific conditions.
In your role as Information Security Officer, you will handle all matters within the information security field that the Security Office is responsible for, primarily in the form of:
- Security reviews in connection with system accreditation
- Management of internal information security incidents
- Support and expertise to other operations on IT and information security matters
You will be part of a team where you work both independently and together with colleagues who have similar tasks at the Security Office. As an Information Security Officer, you will work with issues of a deep technical nature, but the work also consists largely of handling documentation according to internal administrative procedures.
Beyond collaboration within the Security Office, the position involves many contact points both internally within the agency and externally, primarily with other government agencies. To thrive in this role, we see that you are security-conscious and driven by keeping up with technological development.
You Can
We are looking for someone with:
- Post-secondary education in information security with a focus on IT security or computer science, or alternatively acquired equivalent competence through work experience
- Knowledge of IT environment architecture and the technical and administrative vulnerabilities these can exhibit
- Understanding of various technical security functions such as firewalls and antivirus
- Strong ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
We consider it a merit if you have:
- At least two years of work experience and knowledge of operational IT security work
- Experience with Swedish Armed Forces regulations regarding security services
- Worked with technical security reviews of systems
- Experience working with risk and vulnerability analyses
- Knowledge of IT security in cloud environments

More Information
The workplace is located near Drottningholm, approximately 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security classification. A requirement for employment is a passed security vetting with record check. The security vetting will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment entails an obligation to be placed on war mobilization standby. We apply a six-month trial period. Work samples/tests may be used in this recruitment process.
