About the Unit The Cyber and Information Security unit consists of nine knowledgeable and engaged employees. Together, we develop the agency's security efforts. The unit is part of the Support and Coordination Department. Over the coming years, a particular focus will be on further developing the Swedish Work Environment Authority's work within NIS2, security protection, information classification, and security requirements related to cloud services and AI. The role provides an opportunity to influence the development of the agency's information security efforts at a strategic level. Your New Job As an Information Security Expert, you work both strategically and operationally to ensure that the agency maintains a high level of cyber and information security. You are responsible for developing, managing, and monitoring parts of the agency's information security management system and supporting operations with issues related to information classification, risk management, and security requirements. This includes advising, implementing, setting requirements, and monitoring. You work to ensure that the agency's information is handled correctly and support our operations from a cyber and information security perspective. You report to the unit manager. The role involves close collaboration with the agency's security functions, business managers, and IT organization. The Swedish Work Environment Authority's information security management system needs to be further developed to meet increasing requirements from the external environment and new legislation. You participate in the development, monitoring, and management of our information security management system. You develop and enhance our governing and supporting documents. Additionally, you work with information classifications, risk and vulnerability analyses, procurements, setting requirements, and projects. There is also an opportunity to learn and broaden yourself within related security areas. Your Background The role requires that you have: Relevant academic education, for example in information security, IT, systems science, or equivalent competence acquired through work experience that the employer considers equivalent. At least five years of professional experience in cyber and information security. Good knowledge of, for example, ISO 27001, Regulations from the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MCF), the NIS2 Directive, security protection legislation, GDPR, and other relevant regulations. Worked with risk and vulnerability analyses. Experience with information classification. Experience creating and developing governing documents. Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. It is advantageous if you have: Experience with information security work within cloud services, AI solutions, identity and access management (IAM), data handling, or security protection. Experience with security architecture. Experience with vulnerability management. Certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CISA, or CRISC. Security screening with or without records review may therefore be conducted before an employment decision is made. For some of our tasks in security classification, Swedish citizenship is required.
