WORK RESPONSIBILITIES As a manager, you are responsible for leading and developing the unit's employees and creating conditions for engagement, collaboration, and a sustainable work environment. You coach, provide feedback, and follow up on operational development to ensure quality and efficient working methods. The role includes employer and management responsibility for operations, employees, and finances. Your assignment includes, among other things: • leading and developing the unit's work with overarching principles and strategies for managing information and data • working proactively with information security, data protection, and public information to create a secure environment that promotes innovation, efficient processes, and operational development • identifying opportunities where regulatory compliance and standards can be used as drivers for improvement and innovation • in collaboration with others, analyzing and balancing the demands for transparency in public operations with the need to protect sensitive information and individuals' privacy • participating in the work of the regional compliance council to ensure regional regulatory compliance • assisting the management council for information and data, established by the Regional Director, in strategic work at the corporate level. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking someone with a university/college degree in a relevant knowledge area, such as information security, computer science, information science, or systems science. You have previous experience working in a formal management role and have experience with strategic work on information governance in larger organizations. Additionally, you have experience translating complex security requirements into practical working methods. Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement for the position. We consider it a merit if you are certified in CISM, CISSP, or CISO and/or ISO 27001. As a person and leader, you are communicative, decisive, and comfortable working in a complex operation where there is an expectation that security and privacy issues are balanced with development, operational needs, and transparency. You are confident in your management role and can drive development in an organization with many operations and stakeholders, and you possess a good ability to communicate complex issues to both management, employees, and operations.
