The position is placed in the management office of the administration, which works strategically and administration-wide for the entire Sus administration. Within the department, information governance, records management, information security and data protection issues, legal matters, business planning and monitoring, and cross-administrative case management are handled, among other things.

WORK TASKS
In the role of Information Security and Data Protection Specialist for Skåne University Hospital, you work with developing, coordinating, and following up on information security and data protection work. You are part of the hospital's data protection and information security function, which in addition to the current position currently consists of a data protection coordinator and two information security specialists. The role includes, among other things, informing, educating and providing advice, being the first point of contact for information security incidents or personal data incidents within the administration, and supporting the organization in the field of information security and data protection. The work is based on regional guidelines.
You assist Sus with various issues relating to information security, data protection, and information management, for example in the development of our internal processes and in digital development work within healthcare. Furthermore, you participate in the implementation of information classifications, risk analyses, and impact assessments (DPIA), and support management and operations with advice on relevant issues within your area. In addition to this, you work with training for the various operations within the hospital.
In your work, you collaborate with functions and units within the administration and within the rest of Region Skåne that work strategically on issues such as information security, data protection, information management, security, preparedness, patient safety, digitalization, and e-health.
The position is based in Lund, but many meetings and activities take place in Malmö and you are expected to be in both locations.
QUALIFICATIONS
You who are applying have relevant academic education with a focus on, for example, information security, systems science, archive and information science, or law, or alternatively documented experience that we assess as equivalent. You have documented experience working with information security based on current methods and frameworks such as ISO 27001. You have knowledge of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other national legislation that affects the processing of personal data.
We would like to see that you have a good understanding of risk management from an information and IT security perspective. Experience in participating in processes or improvement work related to digitalization is meritorious for the position. Other things we consider meritorious are experience working in public administration and knowledge of the legislation governing a public authority, in particular the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act.

You have good communication skills and find it easy to express yourself both verbally and in writing.
