Systematic information quality work is a function whose mission is to ensure that the agency's information in the central foreign national database (CUD) is accurate. The function is located within the information management unit and consists of information maintenance and information and data quality experts.

What do you do as an information and data quality expert with us?
The mission is to work together with colleagues and sometimes independently to identify and implement the measures required to improve information quality in CUD, that is, to ensure that database registrations reflect the core of made decisions, the development of events in our cases, and make it possible to present this statistically.
This means you will work with various tasks:
Lead and carry out major corrections of incorrect information.
Analyze root causes of error sources and propose measures for other parts of the agency.
Participate in the digitalization and development department's (DUA) development work from an information quality perspective.
Identify and help develop data volumes when other parts of the agency work on correction assignments.
Work with quality assurance of data sets when there is a need from other parts of DUA.
Perform corrections in complex cases.
Contribute your expertise regarding information quality issues to various parts of the operation.
Who are you?
You are a good representative for Migrationsverket and DUA. You have a respectful and unpretentious approach and demeanor both internally and externally. The role will place high demands on your analytical ability and ability to see and structure complex contexts.
You plan, organize, and prioritize your work independently in an efficient manner and set and keep time frames. Furthermore, you are thorough and well aware of goals and quality, and you place great importance on meeting these requirements. You actively participate in our improvement work and demonstrate commitment and flexibility toward our mission and your tasks.
You have good collaboration skills and value working in an environment where we work together to carry out our tasks and missions. An important quality is the willingness and ability to share your expertise.
You who are applying have:
Academic education (at least 120 credits) in a relevant area or other education combined with work experience that the employer deems relevant for the position
Current experience with administrative law case handling.
Experience troubleshooting registrations within case handling.
It is meritorious if you have:
Knowledge of the connections between Migrationsverket's case handling and how it is expressed as data/information in the central foreign national database.
Experience and interest in training the organization in this area.
Experience identifying and formulating development needs within public operations.
Many years of experience with Migrationsverket's case handling.
In-depth knowledge of registrations in one or more of the following areas:
The residence permit process
Residence permit decisions on various grounds and revocation of permits.
The citizenship process
Compensations/benefits.
Information
Work location: The position is located at one of Migrationsverket's main offices: Norrköping, Stockholm, Malmö, or Gothenburg.
Position: Permanent employment (a six-month trial period may apply).
Start date: By agreement.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting.
Work hours: Office hours with flexibility.
