We are now seeking a senior and business-driven Information Security & Compliance Lead who wants to take a key role in developing and strengthening Stena Recycling's work in information security and compliance. The role carries company-wide responsibility and involves close collaboration with the CISO, Privacy Officer, IT function, operations, and our Key Account Managers on matters concerning customer requirements within information security. You will be a central figure in ensuring that we meet both today's and tomorrow's requirements from customers, the market, and regulations. About the Role As Information Security & Compliance Lead, you will have a clear mandate to lead and further develop Stena Recycling's information security management system. You will be the one who translates regulatory requirements, strategic decisions, and internal guidelines into effective working methods that create real value in the organization. This is a role for someone who is motivated by building, improving, and driving development. The focus is on further developing existing structures and ensuring the implementation of new requirements and initiatives. You work both strategically and operatively, with responsibility for creating long-term conditions while driving implementation forward. Through your work, you contribute to making information security a natural and integrated part of the business, digital development, and daily processes. You help the organization stay ahead in an area that is becoming increasingly important for both customers and operations. Your Responsibilities - Develop and drive the implementation of an information security management system according to ISO/IEC 27001 (ISMS) - Create, establish, and implement policies, processes, and procedures - Coordinate and support the implementation of risk analyses and information classification - Monitor and interpret relevant laws (such as EU Digital Omnibus), regulations, and regulatory requirements and ensure compliance - Coordinate and support requirements specification for IT suppliers, infrastructure, and digital development teams - Develop requirement specifications and follow up on implementation - Plan and conduct internal and external audits, including supplier and customer audits, as well as supervisory visits from authorities - Regularly report key metrics on information security to the management team - Coordinate and manage IT incidents together with other stakeholders - Actively participate in corporate forums to identify synergies and drive development - Drive training initiatives and strengthen information security awareness in the organization Required Qualifications - Documented experience implementing information security management systems according to ISO/IEC 27001 - Experience working closely with a CISO or equivalent management function - Strong experience with requirements specification for both IT and OT environments and how they interact - Experience from regulation-driven environments - Experience with audits and audit methodology - Very good understanding of information security, risk management, and compliance - Ability to translate strategic requirements into practical, operational, and measurable implementation - Swedish language skills (spoken and written) are required for this position - B-class driver's license is required as travel is involved - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent Meritorious - Certification in ISO 27001 (Lead Implementer and/or Lead Auditor) or equivalent - Experience with GRC tools - Experience with related standards, such as ISO 27701 - Experience from international or company-wide operations - Good knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 - Good experience working with customers covered by security protection regulations Personal Qualities - Structured and methodical with high integrity and quality awareness - Confident, self-driven, and proactive in complex matters - Communicative and pedagogical with the ability to create understanding in the organization - Business-focused, analytical, and solution-oriented - Thrives in organizations with many contact points and international context Why Stena Recycling Stena Recycling is part of the Stena sphere – a family-owned company built on long-term thinking, responsibility, and entrepreneurial spirit.
