Valmiera Municipal Government (hereinafter – Municipality) invites applications for an Information Technology Administrator position at the Information Technology Center (ITC) (permanent position). Work location: Rūjiena and Naukšēni united territories. If you have the desire to: • manage and operatively resolve Information and Communication Technology (hereinafter – ICT) related issue reports; • provide user support for computer equipment and resolve related problem situations; • install, configure, diagnose, and upgrade computer equipment, computer networks, and software in Municipality institutions, and eliminate operational errors; • monitor the work of external service providers in maintaining infrastructure at Municipality institutions; • prepare proposals for ICT replacement and more efficient use; and if you have: • at least secondary professional education in the field of information technology; • work experience in the field related to information technology; • understanding of computer and office equipment structure and problem-solving procedures; • understanding of computer network structure and network equipment operation principles; • state language proficiency according to the requirements of the State Language Law; • competencies: excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, argumentation skills; ability to make independent decisions; analytical skills; high sense of responsibility; accuracy; ability to work individually and in a team; self-initiative and ability to seek and offer new solutions; we offer: • dynamic, interesting, and responsible work and opportunities for idea implementation in a development-oriented Municipality; • base salary during probation 1258,- EUR before tax deduction, after probation 1310,- EUR before tax deduction; • opportunity to receive vacation allowance for work-life balance for good work performance; • employer co-financed health insurance after the end of probation period, as well as other social guarantees/benefits according to work results and regulatory requirements; • professional development and growth opportunities in a team of knowledgeable and responsive colleagues.
