Our Values: RESPONSIBILITY – COLLABORATION – DEVELOPMENT VSAA announces a competition for: Lead Information Systems Administrator position in the Information Systems Development Division (1 vacancy for an indefinite period) We Offer: Gross monthly salary from EUR 2385 to EUR 2475 (according to the evaluation of individual monthly salary determination criteria); A positive, open, and democratic work environment; Engaging, responsible, and challenging work, with the opportunity to expand your knowledge and gain excellent practical experience; Social guarantees in accordance with state administration regulations; Health insurance (after three months of employment); Workplace location: Varakļānu Street 2, Riga Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, administer, and monitor software (e.g., Oracle OLVM, Oracle RDBMS, Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Analytics Publisher, Tomcat, Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Helm, Ansible, Bash, Python, Grafana, Zabbix, VSAA-developed software, and others); Participate in the creation, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of automated software delivery solutions; Plan improvements and propose changes to software, related documentation, and software development processes, and participate in their implementation; Monitor application and infrastructure components and respond to performance issues, system and application errors, resolve them or refer them to the software developer; Ensure that development and test environments comply with production environment configurations; Install, configure, and oversee the operation of monitoring software (Oracle EM, cacti, etc.) necessary for performing administration functions; Perform software update installations; Document actions taken during software or software update installations. Requirements for Candidates: Academic higher education (bachelor's degree) or first-level professional higher education, preferably in information technology; Preferred: at least 1 year of professional experience in Oracle software administration; Knowledge of Oracle databases; Knowledge of writing database queries using SQL and ability to apply them; Knowledge of DevOps tools and IS development automation processes; Ability to develop operating system scripts, knowledge of Ansible script development; Basic knowledge of JAVA technologies; Education obtained in the state language or language proficiency corresponding to level B, 2nd tier; Teamwork; Analytical thinking; Attention to order, precision, and quality; Initiative; Ability to plan and organize your work.
