NATIONAL ARMED FORCES TERRITORIAL GUARD (Reg. No. 90000040549) announces a competition for the position of INFORMATION SYSTEMS SECURITY MANAGER (profession code 252907), offering: • opportunity to perform responsible and interesting work in state administration; • opportunity to expand knowledge and professional skills in the IT field; • employment contract for an indefinite period; • social guarantees in accordance with those established in state administration, health insurance and monthly salary according to salary group 10 from 1986 EUR to 2174 EUR (before tax payment) depending on professional experience and education. Work location: Territorial Guard Headquarters, Maiznīcas iela 5, Riga, LV-1001 Main job duties: Ensure the implementation of physical and logical security requirements of information and communication technologies. Participate in the implementation of information security measures of the Territorial Guard Headquarters, in the creation and maintenance of infrastructure security architecture. Requirements for candidates: • short-cycle professional higher education in ICT or another IS field; • IS Data Protection courses at an educational institution or program recognized by the EU, NATO or the Republic of Latvia; • compliance with the requirements of the second part of Article 9 of the Republic of Latvia Law "On State Secrets"; • excellent knowledge of Latvian language; • ability to plan and organize work, ability to work in a team, while also being able to independently perform assigned tasks; • business communication and presentation skills; • desirable professional experience in ICT or other applicable IS field of at least 1 year (will be considered an advantage); • preference for candidates with work (service) experience in the National Armed Forces/Territorial Guard or who are territorial guards. Professional knowledge: • information security management; • information security standards and best practices; • information security risk management methodologies, standards and best practices.
