Valmiera Municipality (hereinafter – the Municipality) is hiring a cybersecurity manager (permanent position).
If you have the desire to:
• develop cybersecurity requirements and cybersecurity policy documents, ensure their implementation and maintenance;
• oversee the implementation of measures aimed at reducing cyber risks, including participation in cybersecurity training processes;
• analyze the security of existing information systems, plan the implementation of new information systems security tools, and determine their compliance with cybersecurity requirements;
• participate in the processes of identifying, assessing, managing, and investigating cybersecurity incidents;
• ensure the timely and high-quality preparation of internal and external documents, information requests, and response letters;
and if you have:
• at least secondary professional education in information technology, cybersecurity management, or a related field and at least two years of work experience in cybersecurity management acquired within the last five years, or a valid internationally recognized certificate confirming professional qualifications in the cybersecurity field;
• understanding of the operating principles of information and communication technology solutions;
• state language proficiency in accordance with the requirements of the State Language Law;
• competencies: accuracy and patience in work execution; good communication and collaboration skills; precision and high sense of responsibility; analytical and logical thinking; ability to substantiate your opinion; presentation skills; ability to independently organize your work, set objectives, and meet deadlines; ability to work individually and in a team; self-initiative and ability to seek and propose new solutions;
• Category B driver's license;
