Industrial Specialists for Educational Assignments in Automation, Robotics, Process Engineering, and Maintenance
Do you have extensive experience from industry and are driven by developing other people? On behalf of our client Prokon, we are now seeking several technical specialists who want to help educate the industrial expertise of the future.
We are looking for you who have deep knowledge in automation, robotics, process engineering, or maintenance and who want to combine your technical expertise with an educational assignment. The role suits both you who already work with education and you who want to take the step from industry to a more knowledge-transfer role.
About the Role
As an educator and subject specialist, you will contribute to the development of training for both vocational college students and professionals working in industry. You will deliver training, guide projects, and participate in developing course materials and practical exercises with clear connection to industry's real needs.
Teaching takes place both digitally and on-site at educational providers and company clients. The scope of the assignment can be adjusted based on your availability and in some cases combined with other professional assignments.
We are looking for you with experience in one or more of the following areas
Automation
PLC programming, for example Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff, or Allen-Bradley
HMI and SCADA systems
Industrial networks and communication solutions
Troubleshooting, commissioning, and control technology
Sensors, actuators, and industrial control systems
Robotics
Programming and commissioning of industrial robots
Experience with ABB, FANUC, KUKA, UR, or similar manufacturers
Robot cells, safety systems, and simulation
Optimization and troubleshooting in automated production environments
Process Engineering
Process control and industrial flows
Measurement and control technology
Operation, optimization, and quality assurance
Documentation and improvement work in process industry
Maintenance
Preventive, corrective, or predictive maintenance
Operational reliability, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting
Maintenance systems and maintenance planning
Experience with TPM, vibration technology, or thermography is a plus
Your Profile
We believe you have a strong technical foundation combined with a desire to share your knowledge. You are organized, communicative, and have the ability to explain complex technical relationships in a pedagogical way.
We especially value you who:
Have both theoretical knowledge and practical experience from industry
Enjoy educating, coaching, or mentoring others
Are creative and enjoy developing new materials and training approaches
Want to contribute to strengthening Swedish industry's future competency supply
Qualifications
Requirements
Bachelor's degree, vocational college degree, or equivalent competence at SeQF level 6 or higher
Documented experience in one or more of the relevant technical areas
Desirable
Experience in teaching, training, or mentoring
Green Belt certification or higher
Experience with improvement work or technical project management
Knowledge in IT, hardware, and software
Experience with Raspberry Pi or similar platforms
