About the Position
As an industrial electrician, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and automation systems, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, install and commission new equipment, and report maintenance activities while participating in improvement projects.
About You
Formal Qualifications We are looking for someone with a high school diploma in electrical or energy technology and at least two years of documented experience as an industrial electrician or in a similar role in industrial maintenance. You have good experience troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on production equipment, sensors, control, and automation systems in an industrial environment. A Class B driver's license is required, along with the ability to work in a structured, safe, and independent manner in a production facility.
It is advantageous if you have electrical certification BB1 or BB2, as well as experience with PLC programming, preferably Siemens, Mitsubishi, or similar systems. Courses in lift systems, hoists, and electrical safety are valuable, as is experience with commissioning, machine startup, and work in maintenance systems such as MaintMaster. Experience from other manufacturing industries such as wood, steel, paper, or energy is also a clear advantage.
