Individual Support/Family-Oriented Residential Support for Open Care Services

Do you want to help develop the social services of the future?
We're now seeking an engaged, flexible, and solution-oriented employee for our open care services. This is a shared position that includes both individual support for adults and work within FOBS (Family-Oriented Residential Support).
With us, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's daily lives while becoming part of the development toward a more accessible, preventive, and close social service in line with the new social services law.
Work Tasks
As an individual support worker, you'll work with adults who have been granted needs-assessed interventions in the form of compensatory support in their daily lives. These interventions aim to strengthen individuals' ability to manage their everyday situations, increase independence, and create conditions for a functioning life situation.
In your role as an employee within FOBS, you'll work with families who need practical and educational support in their daily lives. By meeting families in their home environment, you contribute to strengthening their own resources, structure, and functioning daily routines.
The work is varied and occurs in close collaboration with colleagues, case managers, and other stakeholders around the individual and family.
Work in open care services is characterized by close cooperation between different parts of the activity. This means that when needed, you may support colleagues in other assignments, which requires flexibility and a good collaborative approach.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who
Has relevant education in social work, treatment pedagogy, social pedagogy, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Has experience working with adults, families, or people in need of daily support. Is confident working independently while valuing collaboration. Has a strong ability to create and maintain trusting relationships. Is flexible and can adapt your work approach. Sees possibilities where others see obstacles and is solution-focused. Has the ability to motivate, support, and strengthen people's own resources. Can structure and plan your work independently.
The position involves scheduled working hours and includes work during daytime, evening hours, and weekends if needed. We're therefore looking for someone who is flexible and sees the value in being able to meet people when support is most needed, rather than working traditional office hours.
A driver's license (category B) is a requirement.

To work in Älvkarleby Municipality, you need to provide a valid ID document showing your citizenship. In some cases, you also need to provide a document proving that you have the right to work in Sweden. If you're offered employment, you need to show one of the following:
