Job Description
Do you want to work with ILS and contribute to the development and maintenance of defense-related systems with high requirements for availability, operational reliability, and long-term logistics support? AFRY is now seeking an ILS Manager responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on ILS work in complex technical systems.
In your role as ILS Manager, you will lead the work to ensure systems and equipment are provided with appropriate and cost-effective logistics support throughout their lifecycle. The work is conducted in close collaboration with project management, product managers, systems engineers, suppliers, and other relevant functions. You are responsible for ensuring that requirements for availability, operational reliability, maintainability, and supply support are addressed throughout the equipment's lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Plan, lead, and follow up on ILS work within one or more projects
- Collaborate with product managers and project functions on matters concerning logistics support, maintenance, and equipment tracking
- Ensure that ILS deliverables are produced and delivered in accordance with the requirements list (KEL)
- Conduct and follow up on maintenance planning based on ILS strategy, TTEM, maintenance plans, technical documentation, equipment data, and other governing system and requirement documentation
- Analyze maintenance solutions regarding maintenance levels, intervals, spare parts, test equipment, technical information, and training needs
- Participate in requirements reviews, inspections, project follow-ups, and delivery controls
- Contribute to equipment and maintenance data being managed in relevant support systems for equipment management and tracking
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with:
- Relevant academic education or equivalent experience
- Several years of experience working with ILS, maintenance systems, maintenance planning, or lifecycle support
- Experience with project work involving technically complex systems or equipment
- Experience delivering or following up on ILS deliverables according to KEL
- Good understanding of maintenance planning at the equipment and system level
- Good knowledge of support systems for equipment management and tracking such as Teamcenter, TIA, and PRIO/LIFT
- Excellent ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish and English
Meritorious
It is an advantage if you have experience working in the defense sector, FMV-related activities, or other security-sensitive environments.
Work Locations: Solna, Gothenburg, and Malmö.
Security Clearance & Education Verification
Since we often work on classified assignments, this position may require security clearance and background check before employment. Swedish citizenship is required.
