The Interior Ministry Digital Center (registration No. LV90000289913) is a direct administration institution subordinate to the Ministry of Interior. The Center's mission is to promote crime prevention and combating, protection of public order and security using information processing and analysis tools, as well as to provide the Ministry of Interior and its subordinate institutions with operational radio communication and private electronic communication network systems compliant with European Union requirements.

Senior Procurement Specialist
Civil Service Position (indefinite term)
Your responsibilities will include:
coordinate and conduct public procurement procedures;
organize, support procurement commissions, and document procurement processes;
prepare, evaluate procurement specifications, technical specifications, and other documentation related to procurement organization;
conduct public procurement organization processes and provide methodological support to structural unit managers in procurement organization;
prepare, refine, and monitor the Center's public procurement plans;
prepare reports on public procurements conducted at the Center.
Our requirements:
compliance with the requirements of Article 7 of the State Civil Service Law;
second-level academic or professional higher education in social sciences;
one year of experience in state administration;
knowledge and ability to apply the knowledge necessary for performing work duties in organizing public procurement procedures;
ability to plan and organize your work processes, good collaboration, communication, and presentation skills;
desired knowledge and understanding of information and communication technologies (ICT);
compliance with competencies: ethics; care for order, accuracy, and quality; communication; teamwork; responsiveness;
good computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint);
state language proficiency (advanced level C1).
