Glysisvallen AB is one of Hudiksvall Municipality's wholly owned companies and is responsible for several of the municipality's most important sports facilities. Our facilities are important meeting places for sports clubs, recreational athletes, elite athletes, children, youth, and visitors. Our operations include an ice rink, several natural grass football pitches, a large artificial grass pitch, and two track and field facilities—one centrally located in Hudiksvall and one in Iggesund. We are now seeking a Sports Facility Groundskeeper for a temporary position with immediate start. Job Responsibilities As a Sports Facility Groundskeeper, you will work with the daily maintenance of our sports facilities. A large part of the work involves maintaining the ice in the ice rink and caring for the natural grass and artificial grass football pitches. Job responsibilities also include: maintenance of green spaces glass cutting and other ground work trimming trees and bushes planting and care of flowers operation of agricultural tractors and various types of motorized equipment support and service in connection with training, matches, and other events minor maintenance and repair work You will work alongside several other sports facility groundskeepers. A work supervisor is responsible for overall planning of daily and weekly tasks. The work also involves considerable independence and personal responsibility for how tasks are planned and carried out. We are looking for someone who has: good knowledge of green space maintenance experience operating agricultural tractors and other motorized equipment ability to work independently and take personal responsibility good teamwork skills and a service-oriented approach driver's license with category B authorization Experience from similar work at a sports facility, park and property maintenance, or other related activities is a merit. The work is scheduled and includes service during daytime, evenings, and weekends. Employment Terms The position is a temporary contract covering the absence of a regular employee, initially for six months. Start is immediate.
