Sports Facility Worker for Tibblevallen The Sport and Community Unit is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the municipality's sports facilities. These include ice rinks, sports halls, natural grass fields, artificial turf fields, track and field facilities, outdoor swimming pools, and spontaneous activity areas. The unit's primary goal is to provide Täby municipality's residents with the best possible conditions to be physically active. We are now looking for a full-time employee who can work with outdoor operations in Täby municipality. This position will be based at Tibblevallen in Täby. The role includes evening and weekend work. The unit aims to offer world-class hospitality. The work tasks are varied and no two days are alike. Your primary task, along with your colleagues, is to create an attractive and welcoming environment at the facilities. You will mow and line grass fields, flood the ice rink with an ice resurfacing machine, brush and rake soccer fields, and more. You will meet many people whom you will help in various ways. As a sports facility worker, you are always the face of our operations and ensure that all visitors feel welcome and are met with a facility that maintains high standards. The role includes ensuring that everything functions as it should and that everything is clean and tidy, but also finding new solutions and ideas that make things easier for our visitors. The position also includes administrative work such as handling emails, bookings, fault reports, and contact with associations, schools, and suppliers. Who are you? For us, your attitude is what matters most. You have a positive attitude, an eye for detail, and enjoy providing that extra touch that service work often entails. You are someone who is unpretentious and willing to pitch in where needed. You enjoy working at varying paces in an environment where human interaction is central. It is a merit if you are, or have been, active in a sports association. You also need an interest in sports and outdoor activities, you are prepared to develop together with others, and you prioritize good service above all. Qualifications: B-class driver's license (Manual), upper secondary school education, and basic computer skills. You must also have sufficiently good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. It is a merit if you have previously worked as a sports facility worker. Interviews are held on an ongoing basis. Employment may take place before the final date specified in the job posting.
