ICA Ringen is an established grocery store in Ringen Centrum on Södermalm with high ambitions for quality, selection, and food experience. Our bread department is an important part of the store's fresh produce profile, and every day we offer our customers a wide selection of freshly baked bread and carefully selected products from renowned bakeries.
We are now looking for an Assistant Bread Department Manager who wants to work closely with the department manager and help develop the department further.
About the Position
As Assistant Department Manager, you are a key person in daily operations. You work operationally with all tasks in the department and become a close support to the department manager in planning, ordering, and ongoing operations.
In the department, we bake most of our bread from frozen dough that is thawed, proofed overnight, and baked in-store. Combined with a carefully selected assortment from external bakeries, we create an inspiring bread department with high quality and great variety.
When the department manager is not on site, you take overall responsibility for the department. You ensure that goods flow, orders, displays, and daily operations function optimally and help maintain high quality in the department every day.

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in bread, sales, and retail. You are engaged, responsible, and enjoy a role where you can combine practical work with greater responsibility for daily operations.
You work in a structured manner, take your own initiative, and have an eye for what needs to be done. For you, order, quality, and professional customer service are self-evident. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by creating an inspiring department and a first-class customer experience together with your colleagues.
Previous experience in bakery work, bread department, or grocery retail is meriting, as is experience in work supervision or department management.
