At the Swedish Migration Agency, we work on one of our time's major societal issues – migration. In total, we are approximately 6,000 people here, and we have an unusually important job! Our agency and the entire migration area in Europe are facing major changes. In Sweden, we are now building up the physical environment that will support a new reformed reception system. This includes, among other things, new reception centers, increased detention capacity, and adapted offices – from Boden in the north to Malmö in the south. The Migration Agency does not own any properties but leases all premises. As an expert in rental law, you are responsible for the agency's lease agreements regarding premises rentals. In this role, you have broad contact with both Migration Agency personnel and external landlords. Your work tasks include, among other things: Negotiation of contract terms for new acquisitions of administrative premises, detention facilities, as well as reception and return centers Renegotiation of existing lease agreements Rental law advice, handling terminations and case management in the rental tribunal Preparation of negotiation materials in dialogue with project managers Review and negotiation of lease agreements as well as analysis of rental data and costs Market assessments and decision-making materials before and after negotiations Participation in the development and management of the premises procurement process Who are you? We are looking for someone who is organized, independent, and goal and results-oriented with the ability to plan and organize work efficiently toward set goals and deadlines. You have good linguistic and analytical skills, are business-minded, and have good collaboration skills, which means you can handle different interests and contribute to constructive solutions. We would appreciate genuine engagement in matters concerning premises and lease negotiations. As a civil servant, you also need to have good judgment and high security and confidentiality awareness. You have Academic education in law of at least 120 credits, or other education combined with experience that the employer deems equivalent Several years of experience working with lease agreements and lease negotiations for premises Good knowledge of rental law and negotiation techniques with a focus on premises Good communication skills and express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish Good knowledge of the Office package It is an advantage if you have Experience in advising on commercial rental law Experience with property law issues within the premises area Experience working in the project tool Antura or equivalent Experience with premises procurement within government operations Information Type of employment: Permanent position with probationary period Working hours: Office working hours Location: Norrköping, Göteborg, Malmö, or Stockholm Start date: By agreement Application Welcome to submit your application materials by October 7, 2026.
