The Opportunity Hitachi Energy Components is now seeking a Main Planner to join our Components team in Ludvika. In this role, you will work closely with our production planners, operational buyers, and sales and order teams to ensure that we optimize capacity across multiple production lines and create maximum customer value. You will play a key role in developing and implementing best practice approaches and will be part of the company's Sales & Operations Planning process (S&OP). How You Will Make a Difference Publish and maintain accurate lead times in relevant planning systems and tools. Optimize planning across production lines by balancing workload based on aggregated customer demand. Monitor delivery performance and proactively identify and manage deviations, including daily and weekly reporting to management. Create a structured approach to demand forecasting in close collaboration with the sales organization and internal transformer factories. Coordinate planning activities for major and complex projects. Create and maintain a structured process for capacity reservation. Define and implement planning principles. Serve as backup and coach for our planning teams. Your Background High school or university degree in logistics, business administration, engineering, or another relevant field. At least 5 years of experience in production planning. Very strong SAP skills and advanced expertise in material planning and scheduling. Documented ability to see the bigger picture and understand how different processes interact, identify improvement opportunities, and establish approaches from an enterprise perspective.
