Hedängskolan F-5 is located in Storvik with proximity to sports facilities, swimming and forest. The school has approximately 260 students and around 35 employees who together work to create a safe and accessible learning environment. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a substitute teacher, you are a flexible resource who covers for regular staff's absence. You work in different grades and subjects, which means you need to quickly familiarize yourself with new situations and create structure in the classroom. You contribute by: • Creating security and work peace for students in different teaching situations • Supporting students in their learning and social development • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals • Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment We make each other better by: • Sharing experiences and knowledge in open forums • Supporting each other in challenges and development • Working together so all students succeed QUALIFICATIONS To succeed in this role, you need to be good at collaborating and building good relationships with both students and colleagues. Responsiveness and clear communication are important to contribute to a safe and functioning environment. You also need pedagogical understanding of how people learn in different ways, so that teaching can be adapted to students' needs. A structured work approach with planning and organization makes it easier to manage the task and create work peace in the classroom. The position requires: • Teacher certification • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written It is meritorious to have previous experience working in schools as well as good IT skills. We would like you to have qualifications as a recreational teacher or teacher certification for Swedish at younger ages (F3).
