We are now seeking an additional dedicated RV/caravan technician for our full-service shop in Vännäs to handle service, troubleshooting, and repairs. Your Responsibilities As an RV/caravan technician at BW Fritid, you'll be a key player on our shop team. Your main responsibilities include servicing recreational vehicles, performing basic engine work, installing additional equipment such as TV antennas, solar panels, or bike racks, warranty work including troubleshooting, and insurance work—which can range from replacing a small plastic part to replacing an entire wall. As a relatively small workplace, it's natural that we help each other when needed. Some of your work time may be spent at our delivery facility in Umeå. Your Profile To succeed as a technician at BW Fritid in Vännäs, you should have good experience with similar work, but most importantly, you are generally handy with a willingness to learn new things. You'll be working on our customers' second homes and prized possessions, which demands precision and care. You also maintain good order and appreciate a clean and fresh workplace. Therefore, strong teamwork, flexibility, and the ability to find solutions in all situations are essential. The RV/caravan industry is seasonal. This means you must enjoy working with higher workloads during the summer season and have the ability to increase your pace while maintaining quality. We believe you have previous experience in service, assembly, repair, and troubleshooting work. It's an additional plus if you have experience with vehicle electrical systems. You have at least a high school diploma and a Class B driver's license, plus basic computer skills. The position is full-time, daytime work.
