Dog Caretaker Wanted

🐾 WE'RE LOOKING FOR A TEAM MEMBER FOR OUR DOG DAYCARE 🐾 Position: 50% (can be more) Work hours: flexible between 6:00 AM-6:00 PM Kvinnersta HundAkademi is looking for a confident, responsible, and dedicated employee who wants to be part of our team. Your main responsibilities will include: • Walking, exercising, and supervising dogs • Cleaning, laundry, and other daily routines • Feeding and basic grooming and nail care • Contact with dog owners during drop-off and pick-up • Helping to create a safe and calm environment for the dogs We're looking for someone who: • Has good experience with dogs and can read canine body language (desirable) (or: has a strong interest in dogs and wants to learn) • Is comfortable with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities (desirable) - you must not be uncertain or afraid of dogs • Is responsible, flexible, and can work independently as well as with colleagues • Has good physical fitness and enjoys active work in all weather conditions (required) • Is thorough and understands that cleaning is an important part of the work • Can stay calm even when the pace is hectic • Treats both customers and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner Desirable qualifications include: • Education in dog care, animal care, or similar • Previous experience from dog daycare, dog boarding, or kennels • Knowledge of canine behavior, group management, and first aid • Experience with dog training and dogs with special needs • Experience with nail clipping and basic grooming Personal suitability and practical dog experience are weighted heavily. The work requires you to be reliable, see what needs to be done, and understand that caring for the dogs always comes first.
