Learn more at www.alsglobal.se We are seeking an engaged and driven HSE Officer for our geochemistry operations in the Nordic region, based in Piteå. As an HSE Officer, you will play a central role in ensuring a safe and sustainable work environment across our Nordic operations. You will work both strategically and operationally to implement and develop our HSE processes, and ensure that we comply with both local legal requirements and global guidelines. The role involves close collaboration with operational leaders, employees, and other support functions such as HR and quality. Your main responsibilities include: Drive and develop a strong HSE and sustainability culture within the organization Ensure compliance with laws, internal policies, and global guidelines within HSE Implement and follow up on HSE programs, procedures, and practices at site and regional level Work with risk assessments, incident management, and preventive measures to reduce accidents and risks Support operations with regulatory requirements and contact with authorities Participate in and lead internal and external HSE audits Ensure that HSE training and instruction are conducted and followed up Drive improvement initiatives We are looking for you who: Have a degree in occupational health, health and safety, or equivalent. You have several years of experience with qualified HSE work and have a good understanding of legislation and standards in the field. As a person, you are: Structured with a good ability to plan and manage your work independently Communicative and find it easy to collaborate with different functions and levels in the organization Solution-oriented with good analytical abilities Responsible, thorough, and professional in your approach You have excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. If you also have knowledge of Finnish, that is advantageous. The role involves travel within the Nordic region.
