As an HR Strategist with us, you combine operational management support with development work. You work close to the operations, develop the recruitment process together with our Staffing Center, and contribute to digitizing and simplifying HR work. This role suits you if you want to grow, take responsibility, and bring new perspectives. You don't need to know everything from the start – what's most important is that you are curious, want to develop, and enjoy taking responsibility. You will receive support from experienced colleagues while having the opportunity to grow in the role. You will be part of the HR department, which consists of the Staffing Center, Payroll, and HR Center. Your closest colleagues are three experienced HR Strategists, an HR Manager, and a staffing coordinator – a team that enjoys sharing their experience and supporting each other in everyday work. Together we work to create the HR support of the future at Gagnefs kommun. Job Responsibilities As an HR Strategist, you work closely with managers in the Social Services department and provide support on matters related to employment law, work environment, rehabilitation, recruitment, staffing, and competence management. In this role, you will, among other things: Responsible for and develop the recruitment process together with the Staffing Center. Work with competence management, staffing planning, and matters related to the Employment Protection Act (LAS). Develop and maintain HR information on the intranet, including manager and employee handbooks. Drive improvement and digitalization initiatives within the HR area. Contribute to making HR processes simpler and more user-friendly for managers and employees. Participate in the HR department's joint development work. You are expected to contribute new perspectives, see the bigger picture, and actively drive improvements in recruitment, staffing planning, and digital practices. Qualifications We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and your willingness to develop. Must-haves: Experience Experience in recruitment in some form, for example through internship, work as an HR assistant, staffing company, or similar. Experience working in an organization with many parallel processes. Experience writing and maintaining information, such as intranet, procedures, or handbooks. Must-haves: Education Bachelor's degree or ongoing/completed education in human resources and employment matters, HR, or equivalent. Education that covers employment law, work environment, recruitment/competence management, as well as organization and leadership. Must-haves: Knowledge Good knowledge of the various stages of the recruitment process and basic selection methodology. Basic knowledge of employment law and work environment. Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. Good digital skills and experience working with various system tools. Meritorious Experience working within or for social services/social welfare departments. Experience with improvement work, digitalization, or development projects. Experience with staffing, scheduling, or competence planning. Specialized courses in recruitment, digital HR, work environment, or project management. Knowledge of digital HR systems, intranet, or employer branding. Training in competency-based recruitment.
