We are seeking an HR Specialist for a temporary position during spring and parts of fall 2027, while one of our employees is on parental leave. About the Role The HR and Finance Department is part of GIH's administration and currently consists of 9 people who work together and contribute to the whole, while having different areas of responsibility. As an HR Specialist at GIH, you will work to develop and support GIH's managers in their leadership roles and provide qualified and comprehensive support in various HR matters. Main responsibilities: - Recruitment, including faculty and doctoral candidate recruitment - Support to managers on contract and labor law matters - Support to managers on work environment, equal treatment, and rehabilitation issues - Salary review work and salary mapping - Other HR department tasks of an administrative, operational, and strategic nature About You We are looking for someone with experience in broad HR work and relevant academic education in personnel management or equivalent. You have experience in workforce planning, preferably within public sector operations. We would appreciate knowledge of public sector agreements and public sector labor law. Experience in HR work within universities and higher education is a merit. You have excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing, as well as good knowledge of English. As a person, you are proactive, driven, and responsible. You move work forward and ensure tasks are completed. You have good analytical skills and work in a structured and methodical manner. The role also requires that you can communicate clearly, collaborate well with others, and create and develop good relationships. You also have good administrative abilities. We will place great importance on personal suitability for the position. About the Employment This is a fixed-term position for approximately 11 months with the possibility of shorter extension. Start date is planned for early January 2027 or by agreement. The position corresponds to 100% full-time employment. Salary Individual salary determination applies.
