Subject to the necessary decisions being made, Västerbergslagens utbildningsförbund (VBU) is seeking an engaged and development-oriented HR Specialist who wants to help strengthen our organization. With us, you will have a strategically important role where you work closely with managers and operations on HR matters that help create good conditions for our employees and operations. We offer varied and developmental work where you have the opportunity to combine strategic HR work with operational support in an organization that makes a difference in people's learning and development. About the Position As an HR Specialist, you will be part of VBU's HR function together with an HR Manager. You work closely with the federation leadership and managers and provide qualified support on both strategic and operational HR matters. This is a permanent full-time position based in Ludvika, but travel to our workplaces in Smedjebacken and Grängesberg may occur. Start date is by agreement. A probationary period may be applied and an extract from the criminal record will be requested. Responsibilities In your role as HR Specialist, you will work with, among other things: Recruitment and competence supply Employment law matters and advisory services Support to managers on personnel-related matters Occupational health and safety work and systematic occupational health and safety initiatives Collaboration and union negotiations Development of HR processes and working methods Strategic HR work linked to operational goals and development The work is largely strategic but also includes operational elements where you support operations in day-to-day HR work. Qualifications We are seeking someone who has: Academic education in HR/personnel or other education that the employer considers equivalent Several years of experience with independent HR work, preferably in an advisory role to managers Good knowledge of employment law and HR processes Good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish Driver's license (category B) It is meritorious if you have: Experience working in municipal or other public sector operations Experience with negotiations and collaboration with union organizations Experience providing qualified managerial support in HR Personal Qualities To succeed in this role, we see that you are independent and confident in your professional role. You are relationship-building and find it easy to create trusting collaborations at different levels in the organization. As a person, you are structured and have a good ability to plan and prioritize your work. Since the role involves considerable advisory work, you are communicative and pedagogical in how you support and guide managers and employees. We place great importance on personal suitability.
